Gingham + Golden Light
Happy Sunday, everyone! I am so excited to share this post with you, of me wandering through the golden hills wearing an *amazing* summer look by the following brands: top & shorts by Show Me Your Mumu, red cap by San Diego Hat Company, and shoes by Pour La Victoire. I cannot get enough gingham this summer, y'all!
A Dash of Pink | Fame and Partners
A dash of pale pink, whilst surrounded by greenery creates some hue magic, huh? I love the movement in that Gilda Dress by Fame and Partners! I also love the way it pairs with those sandals by Pour La Victoire - a match made in heaven. This is a shoot we did for the Fame and Partners blog, which you can see here and read about why I took a pledge to stop fast shopping for a month. Enjoy!
Sky High | Petersyn
~*Sky high*~ wearing the most ruffletastic outfit by Petersyn on an adventure with mi amor! We cruise this route a couple of times per week, not only because it is a few minutes from our home but we find it to be so meditative. A moment where we can unplug and take in those layers of mountains resting in front of the sunset. I love the light there, as well - and it really highlighted the amazing details in this look by Petersyn. Enjoy!
Life in the Lighthouse
I cannot believe it has already been four months since we moved into our little lighthouse in the woods. Time sure does fly by when you're having fun - so I'm trying to soak in every moment and document our life here as it soars on by. I've been slowly adding decor and making the house more *us*! There's still many things I have in mind to do, but I am so happy with the progress! I've also been adding more indoor greenery lately, and I love the life it brings into our home. Something to look at and watch progress as they grow each and every day. These big windows work wonders for them! Anyhow, here's a little glimpse into our home topped off with some lacey robe magic from Show Me Your Mumu.
Featuring the Lilah Lace Robe by Show Me Your Mumu.
Little House on the Prairie
Featuring the cold shoulder wrap dress by Band of Gypsies, boots by AGL, and jewelry by Studio Blue Jewelry.
Under a Wide Brim
Can someone point me to the nearest picnic?
Follow along as I explore an abandoned camp wearing jewelry from Studio Blue, a dress from Blackwater, a hat from San Diego Hat Company, and shoes from AGL! I'm so into gingham these days and cannot wait to fill my closet with more of it over the summer.
Falling For You
It's been a while since I've posted here -- but I'm happy to be back, sharing a shoot brought to you by Pitusa! I guess you can say I have been busy getting to know our new neighborhood ~ and I am beginning to fall in L O V E with our surroundings.
Even though I haven't been as active here on the blog, I have been creating more than ever. Inspiration is everywhere you look here on Pine Mountain - and Darren and I are always feeling that urge to get out, explore, and document our dreams by turning them into reality! As we explore we discover new places, and one of those places is the location here in this shoot.
A short 10-minute drive from our house takes you here, overlooking layers of mountains being backlit by the setting sun, and oh my is it dreamy! We can't stop going back ::)
I think I have found my new happy place - where I will go to wash all of those worries away and let my mind wander into those endless layers of mountains! Or just to enjoy a nice beer with my love! Ok, now enjoy the rest of the photos!
The End! Now keep your eyes peeled for new content, I wasn't joking when I said we've been out creating more than ever! ::)
Bougainvillea Heaven
This is an important shoot for me - not only because I just love my outfit from Echo and Air, but because this is the last shoot we did at our LA home before we moved into our new cabin in the mountains. The bougainvillea in our front yard was in full bloom as we were packing up our things, as if our house was giving us a farewell! Leaving our LA home in it's dreamy spring state wasn't easy, but I'm happy I'll have these photos to cherish the memories forever. Farewell, LA! I'm still close by ::)
Step Into the Light
Follow me as I chase the sunset in this series 'Step Into The Light' brought to you by Madison James. They have such a stunning collection of formal wear that will leave you feeling like a princess ~ enjoy!
She's a Wildflower
Hello, WORLD! As you know, I have been MIA moving into our new cabin in the woods. Good news, I am back and feeling better than ever! Waking up to the smell of pines and enjoying constant beautiful views of the Los Padres National Forest has us both ever-so-inspired and ready to create. Here is a shoot we did while driving through our new "neighborhood", brought to you by Sbicca Footwear and Somedays Lovin! Enjoy!
// the sunset told me wear to pink //
The sunset called and told me to wear pink at the top of the Topanga Overlook...
So I grabbed my favorite get up from Nordstrom (by Topshop) and headed on up.
The moon was big and bright, and the sky kept changing hues as the sun sank behind the mountains!
And, oh my, was the sunset right! The hues were absolutely stunning and matched my outfit perfectly.
This outfit was so fun to shoot! Not only because it paired perfectly with the sunset, but because I just love the modern, yet rock and roll vibe to it all. I will definitely be wearing this to the next concert I check out ::) Peep the links to what I'm wearing below and don't forget to listen to the song of the day -- I have it on repeat lately!

I could have sat there all day, admiring all of the canyon layers from Dead Horse Point; especially since that beautiful kimono by Ebonie N Ivory matched those deep purple hues! This scenic point is only a few miles from the entrance of Canyonlands, and is definitely worth a visit if and when you find yourself in Moab, UT!
The next set of images were actually shot on a completely different adventure - I am ((obviously)) in love with that kimono from Ebonie N Ivory! While in Pioneertown, CA we stayed at this cool spot called Los Vientos Hideaway and were completely in awe of it's views from the living room windows. The whole place was designed to perfection.
This last shot was taken by our good friend Kelley Lee. I love how it captures our love!

Are you guys still looking for that perfect piece of crochet heaven for summer? Well, look no further, I have found something that will change your lives on a warm & sunny day.
That piece of heaven is this crochet playsuit by Lipsy, in which I wore on our adventure up to the top of Mt. Pinos while prancing around those beautiful flowers.
We were really trying to play with dimension in these images to both showcase the detailing of the playsuit and also the dreamy flowers that filled the meadow.
The conditions were perfect. So, If you're looking for a nice hike, and don't want to go to far from LA, I recommend visiting this spot. We've been many times, but I've never seen those flowers until now!
This is what it looks like when you get to the top of the mountain - the best views (especially when you arrive at golden hour)! All of the mountainous layers were lit just right.
I cannot even tell you how comfortable this playsuit is - I could live in it all day every day.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weeks so far! I have been traveling a ton (as I'm sure you guys figured!). Next week I am headed to Denver to see one of my best friends get married and to also check out the beautiful Colorado scenery. As of now we have Hanging Lake, the Great Sand Dunes, and the Rocky Mountains on our to do list - let me know if there are any other must sees!
Photos shot by Darius Twin, of course!
