A Pop of Red
One of my favorite styling tricks is adding a pop of color to an all black, white and grey outfit - and my go-to color is usually ruby red. I just love the flirty vibes red brings to any simple look. Here is a look inspired by this fashion trick, featuring GoJane and ZeroUV. You can find links to everything I am wearing in this shoot at the bottom of the post - enjoy!

Hello, everyone~ I am happy to share the second shoot we captured for Madison James. I just love dressing up in their stunning gowns, wandering around and creating with my love! There's something so special about being 'all dressed up with nowhere to go' - the only place we were headed was towards the best light in the Carrizo Plains! I hope you enjoy this shoot featuring a magical gown brought to you by Madison James.
You can find this stunning gown here! Good news, it also comes in gold! ::)

Come Fly with Me | Badwater Basin
Happy Friday, everyone! I'm flying away (not really - just hopping in a off-roading vehicle) to a secret & amazing location that we will be shooting at for the next few days. Stay tuned and watch my Instagram stories to get a little sneak peek of the fun!
I shared this image last week on my Instagram, but I really wanted you guys to see the full image - I love it so. This is another photo from our angel series - now we can add Death Valley to the list. Thank you Darren for always giving me wings!
Shot by Darius Twin, of course.
// mountaintop //
Are you guys still looking for that perfect piece of crochet heaven for summer? Well, look no further, I have found something that will change your lives on a warm & sunny day.
That piece of heaven is this crochet playsuit by Lipsy, in which I wore on our adventure up to the top of Mt. Pinos while prancing around those beautiful flowers.
We were really trying to play with dimension in these images to both showcase the detailing of the playsuit and also the dreamy flowers that filled the meadow.
The conditions were perfect. So, If you're looking for a nice hike, and don't want to go to far from LA, I recommend visiting this spot. We've been many times, but I've never seen those flowers until now!
This is what it looks like when you get to the top of the mountain - the best views (especially when you arrive at golden hour)! All of the mountainous layers were lit just right.
I cannot even tell you how comfortable this playsuit is - I could live in it all day every day.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weeks so far! I have been traveling a ton (as I'm sure you guys figured!). Next week I am headed to Denver to see one of my best friends get married and to also check out the beautiful Colorado scenery. As of now we have Hanging Lake, the Great Sand Dunes, and the Rocky Mountains on our to do list - let me know if there are any other must sees!
Photos shot by Darius Twin, of course!
Skies on Fire | Valley of Fire
I'm happy to (finally!) share one of my favorite shoots to date, picking flowers and dancing the night in away in the Valley of Fire. Okay, maybe not picking flowers, I brought that one along with me -- but don't those turquoise accents look dreamy? This is quite possibly the most beautiful sunset I've ever experienced, the sky seemed to be on fire, and nothing felt better than to let loose and flow with the breeze. How could you not when you're wearing that dress by Leon Max and jewelry by Lena Bernard? So I did just that, while playing some of my favorite tunes and feeling the love with Darius Twin.
Petal Pink | Valley of Fire
When planning for our photo adventure passing through Valley of Fire, and remembering those deep red-orange hues, I knew there needed to be a touch of petal pink added into the mix -- I mean hello hue heaven! The moment I stepped foot in this Leon Max piece, I immediately felt like that Valley of Fire princess I had imagined in my photo-planning daydreams. The only thing that was a little off was me hiding the fact that I was freezing. It just so happened to be raining, hailing, and 38 degrees outside - but I couldn't let that stop me ::)
This place is so dreamy - if you ever have a moment to see it for yourself, you gotta! It's only a 45 minute drive from Vegas and near many other interesting sights as well.

// wonder of the world //
So.. I fell off the face of the bloggin' earth a little bit this past week.. but it was for good reason ^_^ I spent the week traveling through Sedona and the Grand Canyon with my parents and Darren. I've been to AZ many times in my life because a lot of my family lives there, but I've never really explored the state and all of its many exciting locations. I visited the Grand Canyon many many moons ago, when I was about 4, so I gotta say that doesn't really count. I definitely didn't remember that mesmerized feeling you get while staring into the (what appears to be) infinite layers of canyon. We saw the canyon at many different hours of the day - a few times when it was raining (those clouds looked crazy!), during a sunny afternoon, and - of course - my favorite, sunset. I now know why they call this place a 'wonder of the world' - I was surely left wonderin' ^_^
