They are just as comfortable as they are cute, and will pair well with all of your adventures under the sun! I already took mine on an adventure through my "neighborhood" with a basket full of flowers and warm light, and I fell in love with them.
How to Find the Iconic Palm Tree Lined Street in Los Angeles with View of the Hollywood Sign
I lived in Los Angeles for 5 years and never got that iconic palm tree lined street pic - until now! We began our hunt to find one to photograph for this shoot, and came across the perfect tree lined street leading right up to the Hollywood sign - providing that *extra* epic backdrop. Keep reading to find out how to get to this spot!
You can find this iconic palm tree lined street in LA with the Hollywood Sign in the background on South Windsor Blvd between 4th and 5th Streets. LA truly is a beautiful place.

Maui Diary
After much consideration on where to spend our honeymoon, we decided Maui would be the best for all of our honeymoon desires. We were looking for a place that was both relaxing and adventurous - and Maui is just that! We sipped cocktails by an infinity pool directly facing the sunset, watched the sunrise from atop a volcano, and hiked to see the many waterfalls and beaches around the island. I don't want to give away too much, so take a peek at my Maui Diary below!
We started off our adventure with a drive to see Makaluapuna Point, aka Dragon's Teeth, for an absolutely magical sunset! I don't think I could have matched the sky and reflected ocean any better than with that Smocking Dress by Pitusa.
Welcome to our Honeymoon Home #1, y'all - nestled in the rainforest of North Shore at the start of Hana Highway! We stayed here for a few nights, and really got that Hawaiian experience. There were geckos, fruit trees, and the most vibrant flowers surrounding the property. The location was also great because it was central to many places around Maui - including one of our favorite areas, Paia!
In the photos above & below, I am wearing the Solid Flare Top and Solid Flare Pant by Pitusa.
Yes, that loft is inside of the tiny home! How cool are those steps leading up to it? I loved hanging out at this dreamy spot wearing that Lilah Lace Robe by Show Me Your Mumu!
The flowers surrounding the tiny home property were just *gorgeous*. I couldn't help but capture them after an afternoon shower when the colors were so vibrant!
Once we left our tiny home on the North Shore, we headed east on Hana Highway for our Honeymoon Home #2 located right in Hana on a black sand beach. See below for the view from our balcony!
Black sand beaches are really something else, huh? The contrast of the black lava rock with the greenery and ocean blue tones were mesmerizing! I especially loved the mood as the storm clouds rolled in. My ivory top and mustard velvet pants from Flying Tomato really stood out in these images!
Sunshine, tan lines and black sand beaches are such a great combo! This particular honeymoon home was a favorite because you could hear the massive waves crashing onto the shore from bed. I mean, you can't really find a better sleep soundtrack than that, huh?
In the photo above, I am wearing the Scorpio Bodysuit by For Love and Lemons, Kimono by Flying Tomato, and Wide Brim Boater Hat by San Diego Hat Company.
We also enjoyed staying in Hana, because it put us right next to waterfalls and a red sand beach.
Although tough to swim in, the red sand beach was so beautiful. I mean, come on, how often do you come across a red sand beach?
Before leaving Hana, we wanted to stop and hike to see the Seven Sacred Pools and Waimoku Falls. Unfortunately, Seven Sacred Pools was closed for swimming this time around, but that was okay because we saved our energy for the hike to Waimoku Falls. If walking through a bamboo forest to reach a massive waterfall sounds like something you would be interested in, DO THIS HIKE! It was one of my most favorite hikes I have ever done - with the best waterfall reward in the end :)
Our Honeymoon Home #3 was a bed and breakfast located in Kula which is in the mountains at the base of Haleakala. We wanted to stay here so that the early morning sunrise drive wouldn't take so long, but we ended up LOVING the house we stayed at. The view from the balcony was unreal - you could see all of Maui. We wish we could have stayed here longer.
It was a bit colder in Kula compared to the rest of the island because of the elevation, so I was happy to have a sweater and pants by Flying Tomato that paired so well with my Loren Sunkissed shoes by 5yMedio.
The above photo was taken at Haleakala around 4:30AM - right as the sun was starting to peek above the horizon. It was so cold at the top, so for anyone who is planning to see a sunrise there: DRESS WARM! You are also required to reserve a parking spot at the top, so make sure to do that as well.
Among the shivers, was a sense of so much happiness - I truly felt like I was above the clouds. I was captivated by the many colors that filled the sky as the sun rose - literally 360 degrees of hue heaven. For anyone considering this early morning adventure, do it!
Our final Honeymoon Home #4 was the Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott. We wanted to end our trip on a relaxing note, and oh my we relaxed SO WELL! Cocktails by the infinity pool and short drives to the many scenic beaches in Wailea was the perfect finale. There's also some amazing snorkeling in Wailea - which I highly recommend doing early before the wind and crowds pick up!
There I am on our hotel balcony (above) and enjoying a nice sunset (below) wearing the Milano bikini from Khongboon Swimwear.
For all of you couples in search of the perfect honeymoon - make sure it involves an infinity pool! This one was so serene during sunset.
Here we are at the end of the diary, finishing it off with our final sunset before boarding our 10PM flight to LAX. We drove through a random neighborhood and somehow ended up at this beach to catch a stormy sunset while I was wearing a pale pink dress by Jealous Tomato.
I hope you enjoyed our 'mauimoon' diary! It was a memorable honeymoon, that's for sure :) Coming soon - wedding photos!
Dripping in Gold
An outfit for those first days of fall, when the weather isn't quite cold enough for a sweater and summer is still lingering in the air. I brought together pieces from many of my favs to create this look - earrings and a choker by Gorjana, shoes by E8 by Miista, a top by Cotton Candy LA from Blackwater, and pants by Zulu & Zephyr. They paired well with the golden sun as we cruised along our local ridge route!

Gingham + Golden Light
Happy Sunday, everyone! I am so excited to share this post with you, of me wandering through the golden hills wearing an *amazing* summer look by the following brands: top & shorts by Show Me Your Mumu, red cap by San Diego Hat Company, and shoes by Pour La Victoire. I cannot get enough gingham this summer, y'all!
Life in the Lighthouse
I cannot believe it has already been four months since we moved into our little lighthouse in the woods. Time sure does fly by when you're having fun - so I'm trying to soak in every moment and document our life here as it soars on by. I've been slowly adding decor and making the house more *us*! There's still many things I have in mind to do, but I am so happy with the progress! I've also been adding more indoor greenery lately, and I love the life it brings into our home. Something to look at and watch progress as they grow each and every day. These big windows work wonders for them! Anyhow, here's a little glimpse into our home topped off with some lacey robe magic from Show Me Your Mumu.
Featuring the Lilah Lace Robe by Show Me Your Mumu.
Little House on the Prairie
Featuring the cold shoulder wrap dress by Band of Gypsies, boots by AGL, and jewelry by Studio Blue Jewelry.
Under a Wide Brim
Can someone point me to the nearest picnic?
Follow along as I explore an abandoned camp wearing jewelry from Studio Blue, a dress from Blackwater, a hat from San Diego Hat Company, and shoes from AGL! I'm so into gingham these days and cannot wait to fill my closet with more of it over the summer.

Falling For You
It's been a while since I've posted here -- but I'm happy to be back, sharing a shoot brought to you by Pitusa! I guess you can say I have been busy getting to know our new neighborhood ~ and I am beginning to fall in L O V E with our surroundings.
Even though I haven't been as active here on the blog, I have been creating more than ever. Inspiration is everywhere you look here on Pine Mountain - and Darren and I are always feeling that urge to get out, explore, and document our dreams by turning them into reality! As we explore we discover new places, and one of those places is the location here in this shoot.
A short 10-minute drive from our house takes you here, overlooking layers of mountains being backlit by the setting sun, and oh my is it dreamy! We can't stop going back ::)
I think I have found my new happy place - where I will go to wash all of those worries away and let my mind wander into those endless layers of mountains! Or just to enjoy a nice beer with my love! Ok, now enjoy the rest of the photos!
The End! Now keep your eyes peeled for new content, I wasn't joking when I said we've been out creating more than ever! ::)
Bougainvillea Heaven
This is an important shoot for me - not only because I just love my outfit from Echo and Air, but because this is the last shoot we did at our LA home before we moved into our new cabin in the mountains. The bougainvillea in our front yard was in full bloom as we were packing up our things, as if our house was giving us a farewell! Leaving our LA home in it's dreamy spring state wasn't easy, but I'm happy I'll have these photos to cherish the memories forever. Farewell, LA! I'm still close by ::)
Step Into the Light
Follow me as I chase the sunset in this series 'Step Into The Light' brought to you by Madison James. They have such a stunning collection of formal wear that will leave you feeling like a princess ~ enjoy!
She's a Wildflower
Hello, WORLD! As you know, I have been MIA moving into our new cabin in the woods. Good news, I am back and feeling better than ever! Waking up to the smell of pines and enjoying constant beautiful views of the Los Padres National Forest has us both ever-so-inspired and ready to create. Here is a shoot we did while driving through our new "neighborhood", brought to you by Sbicca Footwear and Somedays Lovin! Enjoy!
Fire Walk with Me
Exploring unfamiliar places is when I am the most inspired. Seeing things for the first time and experiencing a little 'love at first sight,' keeps all of those creative juices flowing and pushes me to create magic! I've been holding off on telling you guys some exciting news, because we have been waiting to finalize everything, but it's almost to the point where I can tell you. So, for now I'll just say that Darren and I are moving into the mountains outside of LA! That's all for now (until it's FINAL!), but basically this drive right here will be in our 'backyard.' It's the first time we've done this drive through the mountains almost all the way to where it drops you off into the ocean, but our tank was running low so we couldn't make it all of the way haha! However, I was STUNNED by the beauty of this drive. Everywhere you turn there's an impressive view, lit by the perfect amount of sunlight. I was feelin' all the love that day - so I chose to wear my favorite color pink in that lovin' theme! I hope you enjoy what we created with all of these new sights.
I cannot wait to tell you guys more, but in order to not jinx it I'm going to stay quiet hehe! Peep the links to what I'm wearing below.
On the Rocks | Joshua Tree
Lena Bernard just released her new collection and I am so in love - her jewelry is a dream, y'all! The craftsmanship in every piece I have been lucky to own by her is just incredible. Each piece is truly a work of art and they add the best vibe to any look.
I am excited to release this shoot! I have been saving this post until Lena released her new collection. I hope you enjoy the imagery we created in Joshua Tree, while on the rocks, soaking in the best kind of golden light.
Desert Getaway | Cactus Moon Retreat
Waking up at the Cactus Moon Retreat was the most delightful experience and a great way to start the day in Joshua Tree - especially when wearing that bodysuit from Miakoda, made with the softest sustainable and organic material!
From our bedroom window, we had the most mesmerizing views of the mountains. I don't think I could have asked for a better thing to see right as my eyes began to open in the morning!
So Darren and I took advantage of the natural light, the designed-to-perfection house, and of course that rad lil' bodysuit!
Once the sun set, we wanted to take advantage of the dance studio at the Cactus Moon Retreat by using a bit of dance + light painting! We've had this idea in mind for quite some time, but just never had a studio at our fingertips. This was our chance to get our creative juices flowing and improvise on some imagery. The following images are 3 of many shots that we took! I changed my pose between every shot, and Darren would create illustrations for each one on the spot. I just love the way they turned out!
I loved teaming up with Miakoda on this shoot and admire their statement when designing clothing - they "equally emphasize ecology and excellence in design" Their production is organic and made in NYC! Check out what I am wearing from their collection below.
