Goblin Valley
Welcome to hoodooville, aka Goblin Valley - land of the most bizarre rock formations out there in Green River, Utah. We arrived right as the landscape was lit with that golden hour sun, and we wondered off into the park, admiring all of the unique hoodoos!
We definitely got lost a few times throughout our expedition, but that's because our sense of direction was completely throwm off as we wandered aimlessly, ha! It was impossible not to, because every direction we turned was the most mesmerizing view.
The sky graced us with a scenic sunset as we found the best point to view it from. This is the location we chose to set down our blanket, jam some tunes on our speaker, and crack open a brew (or two!). It was a dreamy one!
I felt more than alive.
And so did that sky.
Goblin Valley was even more extraordinary than I had imagined!

// tipi magic //
All of my wild n' crazy tipi dreams came true recently, and I was finally able to check 'sleep in a tipi' off of my bucket list. I recommend you do the same - it's an experience you'll never forget.
This campground is only a few miles from the entrance of Bryce Canyon and has 8 tipis for rent!
All smiles over here - we will definitely be doing this again!

// canyonlands //
There's no shortage of views in Canyonlands - everywhere you look there is a vista highlighting the countless canyons throughout the park. I was constantly in awe, as I stared at the ongoing buttes carved by the Colorado River. The canyons were full of so much layer, color, and history - all things that accounted for the park's incredible views.
I chose to adventure through the park ((for my first time ever!)) wearing one of my new favorite yoga brands Silly Yogi for a cute, but comfortable look while exploring. Also, because I was far too excited about the matching hues with the canyon layers.
I could have sat there all day.
As the journey continued, we drove by fields of wildflowers - so vivid and bright - as they were struck by that late afternoon light. Those colors all fit too perfectly together.
The breeze was just right!
We carried on, passing more scenic views, and found another that we were completely drawn to. So we pulled over and saw....
This view! So you know that feeling when time kinda just... stops? You see something you love, and it's like every single thought, both positive and negative, roaming through your brain just quickly fade out and all attention shifts to the most beautiful thing you've seen in um, as long as you can remember? Yep, that happened here.
So I sat and made the moment last a little longer with my love Darius Twin.

Fire Princess | Valley of Fire
This was the very first photo we shot on our road trip through the Southwest in Valley of Fire. You know, it's funny to think that before a year ago I had never been to this fiery location, but since then we have been 4 times. It's such a special location that we obviously can't seem to get enough of. So here's the magic we created in order to start off the adventure just right.
When you're wearing a gorgeously crocheted white dress such as that, and surrounded by this surreal landscape, it's hard not to feel like a princess.
So I added some gold details to add to the summer princess vibe! Including that amazing leaf halo.
The light was perfect.
I chose this as my song of the day because it was playing over my speaker as we shot some of this series! Fyfe has been a favorite of mine ever since I discovered them many years ago.
The tunes were just right, and so were the colors, so I put my feet in the air and enjoyed every moment! How dreamy are those sandals, by the way?
As the night continued, the colors in the sky kept becoming more vibrant and the clouds began to look like cotton candy!
It was so magical.
So here's day 1 of 7 from our Sothwest Road Trip - stay tuned for day 2! Check out what I'm wearing and my song of the day below! ::)

// eye of the arch //
I have finally returned from the most magical road trip I have EVER experienced in my life ((and there's been quite a few!)). The views, the adventures, the people along the way, all made for a journey I will never forget! I am so excited to share the imagery we created, and thought I would start off with my adventure through Arches National Park wearing the most perfect summer get up brought to you by Hollister.
This here is the 'North Window' - but doesn't it look a bit like an eye? So I decided to add an iris, of course.
The rock formations and patterns were so beautiful, and made for the best backdrops to showcase this rad lil' summer ensemble!
That whole collection of arm candy above is under $20 and are my new go-to pieces this summer. Hollister has a great selection of other jewelry pieces as well, but since I'm a sucker for cuffs, I decided to stack them up! You can never wear too many bracelets, right?!
Once we saw all of the arches on the Windows Arch Trail ((South Window pictured above)), it was time to head back to the car to catch the sunset at another location. While walking back, we stumbled upon the most stunning light and had to take in those golden views of Arches ((of course!)).
Arches was even more extraordinary than I had imagined - I recommend that all of you add it to your bucket list! I couldn't have matched those hues any better than with that summer silhouette from Hollister. I can't wait to show you more of what we created, but for now, enjoy your weekend y'all!

// white out //
You can never wear too much white - especially when you pair it with this modern home full of contrast and texture in Pioneertown. (to see more images of this stunning location, check my other blog posts here and here!)
As you can see from the many shoots that we did during our stay, this house inspired a lot of creativity. I knew that amongst the many looks we'd shoot, I'd need a minimal, chic look to accentuate those modern details. And, vuala, Leon Max came to the rescue with this jaw dropping look from their Spring / Summer '16 collection. You guys need to check out more of their new collection as well, I'm pretty much head over heels for it!
The moment I stepped foot in this get-up, I immediately felt like a complete and total badass (excuse my lango, but I did!). I'm so used to modeling with flowy movements, and really allowing my dance background to shine in my shots, but for this particular shoot I wanted to focus on sharp lines that I could create with my body to compliment the lines of the house. I'm really happy with the turn out! It was definitely a challenge for me to step out of my modeling comfort zone and try something new.
On another note, I'm excited to announce that we are about to embark on another Southwest road trip covering many locations that we have never been before! I won't be revealing any more details (it has to be a surprise!) but I will tell you that we have many ideas brewing and can promise some stellar imagery to come! It may be a bit silent here on the blog, but as soon as I'm back, there will lots of new imagery for you to see! YAY!

// los vientos hideaway //
Are you looking to get away anytime soon? To find that remote, dreamy location to leave all your worries behind and soak up some alone time with you and your loved ones? Well, I have found the perfect location to do just that - and it comes with one of the best views out there. Welcome to Los Vientos Hideaway, y'all!
I gotta say, I don't think I've ever stayed in a house with a more breathtaking view than this charming location! At all hours of the day, sitting on that couch and looking out at those canyons was such a refreshing experience that I'll never forget. So when you take that view and add a little Mister Zimi and Eliza Designs LA in the mix, you can do no wrong. I think that golden hour light shining through the windows helped a bit too, huh? ::)
We all need a little break from reality every now and then to remind ourselves of what's important in life - and what's a better way to do that than to surround yourself with 360 degree views of Pipe's Canyon? I highly recommend this location to all of you adventurers! I never wanted to leave.

// rustic magic //
In the heart of Pipes Canyon in Pioneertown, lie these magically rustic ruins that have been converted into a charming event space called The Ruin Venue. While you sit on how brilliant of an idea that is, I'm going to lead you through the beautiful location!
Of course we arrived at golden hour to catch those last rays of sun, shining through the stormy clouds that were headed our direction. Fortunately, we never felt a drop of rain (although we could definitely use it!) but it created a moody element that I was surely excited about!
You may be asking yourself - 'Okay okay, Jordan... that location is stunning, but where is your outfit from?' Well let me start with the jewelry from Eliza Designs LA. All of her designs are handmade here in LA and they are all so dreamy, elegant, and basically everything I could ever want in an accessory. They add that mystical touch to even the most simple get up!
Let's get a closer look at those beauties from Eliza Designs LA! I was really feeling the color tones ::)
Along with those storm clouds came heavy winds, but sometimes you just gotta go with the flow! And by flow I mean, fix your hair every 2 seconds since it quickly becomes a rat's nest but also never miss that soft windy photo opp! So, now let's talk a little bit about that rustic magic - that is the beautiful set I'm wearing from Tobi (who offers 50% off your first order!). I just love how romantic, boho, and vintage this silhouette is!
To end the shoot, I danced where I would imagine all of the dancing occurs at this venue (oh, peep the track I included below!)

// exploring the coast //
I've just returned from a visit to see my family in Plano, TX - where I grew up! I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned that before, but yes I am a Texas gal, indeed. It was really nice to be home, to just *relax* and enjoy catching up with my family. Oh, and you gotta love a night's rest in your old bed! I am happy to be home now, though, so I can get back in the swing of things and release more of our recent shoots!
This shoot is a combination of photos from our excursion on the coast of Big Sur. A few are photos we shot at the beautiful locations we drove by and just *had* to check out. The last few images were shot at McWay Falls - one of my favorite views in Big Sur. I just love how magical that little waterfall is!
I'm wearing a new spring favorite - perfect for a Sunday brunch, afternoon stroll through the park, or coffee date. I just love the casual but classy vibe of this get up! I finally found the perfect fitting mom jeans from Zulu & Zephyr, that I chose to pair those with their funky (and comfy!) top. Check out my outfit details below!

Blending In | Death Valley Superbloom
The superbloom in Death Valley was surely *super* and so was that matching silk silhouette by Few Moda.
Flowers coated the valley everywhere you looked - it was so beautiful!
I collected a few of the wildflowers to take home with me, because I have a sketch book at home that is full of pressed and dried flowers. This was the perfect opportunity to add a little Death Valley magic in there!
Those sea glass rings are a new favorite addition to my jewelry collection, and I just loved the way they paired with the yellow flowers.
Springtime is the best time to be in Death Valley - the vibrant flowers, perfect temperature, nice breeze, on top of the amazing-ness that is Death valley, is hard to beat!

// sunset by the sea //
Never end a day without seeing the sunset, because each and every one is a natural gift from the painted skies above. Some may leave you absolutely speechless - like this one at Pfeiffer Beach, for instance. You can't really predict what the skies may bring when the sun begins to set; but when life gives you a sky that carries streaks of clouds, you just might end up with a pink-filled atmosphere that makes the sunset one you'll always remember.
I took my chances here by wearing this stunning outfit in the hopes it would match the pink skies, and fortunately the *Sky Gods* were feeling the outfit I put together and matched the hues perfectly! I coated myself with those beautiful jewels by Nina Designs, because I find their pieces as inspirational as a sunset! They have both ready-to-wear pieces and design ideas where you can source inspiration and buy the items needed to create your own one-of-a-kind jewelry at home. Take a peek at the selects I made for this sunset silhouette below!

Sunrise on the Dunes | Mesquite Sand Dunes
I woke up at 4:00am in Death Valley to see the sunrise over the Mesquite Sand Dunes, and it was all kinds of magic.
The vibrant color that filled the sky, the stillness throughout the desert, and the brisk, morning air all helped in providing that magic on these dreamy dunes. So, we decided to go on an expedition to find the *untouched* sand - and, sure enough, we found just what we were looking for!
'May every sunrise hold more promise, and every sunset hold more peace'
Seeing the sunrise from an enchanting location such as this always wakes me up inside. To have the ability to start off my day with something so fascinating, really sets a tone for the day. A tone of possibility, eagerness, and drive - like, yes, I can do anything in the world! ::)
I hope this post inspires you to see the sunrise from somewhere new! I'm going to end with a song I feel is perfect for this message, as it opens with the following lyric: 'We've got nothing but time, to do what we like, so let's live before we die.' Keep livin' y'all!

// ghost //
Welcome to Uncertain, TX ladies & gents - the city where the mysterious Caddo Lake exists and many big foot sightings have occurred! While cruising through the area, and becoming more certain about Uncertain, we stumbled upon this hauntingly beautiful wooden pathway that guides you through the swampy lake. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before, so of course we pulled over and began creating.

// chasing light //
Do you ever have one of those days where you just wake up with an itch to explore? To head out with your friends on an open road with the speakers bumping the finest spring & summer tunes? With nothing on your itinerary - only the open road ahead and that refreshing feeling? Well, I faced that the other day, so I followed my intuition and headed up the Angeles Crest Highway to Mt. Wilson. While doing so, I wanted to show off (and offer some inspo for!) a great festival look brought to you by Express.
First and foremost - I have to do a little happy dance due to the bracing views and brisk air. I mean, how could you not when you're wearing that top and surrounded by mountains?
Now it's time to pretend to tie my shoes, because I want to 'casually' show you how amazing they are.
Oh and dear sunlight, thank you for gracefully backlighting my stance of contentedness.
We continued to drive up the mountain to chase that light, and we found ourselves surrounded by the most vibrant sunset. Here we are, above it all, and the colors are hypnotizing! We brought our speaker along, so we had it playing some ambient music for a nice sunset soundtrack.
Sunset, I can feel you! ::)
All in all, the experience was revitalizing and I'm happy I followed my intuition to head out on a day trip to the mountains. It paired nicely with this festival get-up by Express. If you guys are still searching for that perfect (and affordable!) festival look, they have so many great selects. Check out the pieces I chose below!

// silver haze //
I always find myself yearning to go back to Mono Lake - there's something so special about that strange location, especially during a sunset. The ever-so-still water creates a crystal clear reflection - and it is mesmerizing, I tell you! This time I wanted to match the metallic-like reflections by adding a silver silhouette, so I gathered all things silver and created this funky number.
These dainty jewels by Jen Leddy were shining bright under that golden hour light. I absolutely love her designs - they add such a nice, delicate touch to any ensemble and are just fun to look at! So when I first laid eyes on that silver dress by Native Rose, I knew the jewelry + dress would be a match made in heaven. And it was ::) Peep what I'm wearing in the links below!
