I spent the weekend in San Diego and (finally!) had the chance to visit Queen Califia's Magical Circle ~ It was even more magical than I was expecting! For so long, the installation was under maintenance and closed to the public. However, as of late, the garden opens the second Saturday of every month from 9am-11am. So if you happen to be in the area during that time, you must see this location! The garden eerily resembles the sets in Terry Gilliam's 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.' All of the black and white accents called for a bright, cobalt blue maxi dress from one of my new favorite stores, Raga. If you click that link, you can get 25% off your first order with the code: RAGAFAM. ^_^

On the way back to LA from San Diego, we decided to stop at this popular location - Potato Chip Rock. While I may seem at peace in that first photograph, I was a bit shaken up inside. In order to get to Potato Chip Rock, you have to hike 7 miles with extreme elevation, and then you'll come upon a 20-30 minute line of people waiting to shoot a photo on the "chip." I would have thought that the sketchy jump from the base rock onto the "chip" would have scared most people off, but man there were some bold folks up there. It looked like the rock could break at any given moment. The view was so worth it, though.

Here I am feelin' dreamy while surrounded by 50 acres of stunning color, like any girl would. All around me were flowers of different types & color, while the pacific ocean waves were crashing in the background. What a way to end a weekend trip to San Diego, feeling refreshed and ready to start another week.
